Yes! The €5 “Welcome, temple builder!” pledge tier gives you full access to the pledge manager. After the campaign ends, you’ll be able to upgrade your pledge in the BackerKit pledge manager. All Kickstarter-limited prices, exclusives, add-on, and the free gift will still be available to you. Important Note: The pledge manager launches on March 24th and will remain open until April 17th, giving you approximately three weeks to upgrade your pledge and add any additional items to your order.

How does the Pick-up at Essen Spiel / Pax Unplugged work?
Simply pledge at any eligible tier (Merchant Pledge excluded). During the pledge manager phase, you’ll be able to select the “Free Pick-up” delivery option for either Essen Spiel or PAX Unplugged. If you choose this option, you will not be charged for shipping. At the convention, just visit our booth, provide your backer number and a valid form of personal identification, and you’ll receive your full order on the spot.

Why are there no Stretch Goals offered?
We’ve chosen not to include Stretch Goals in this campaign. Our focus is on delivering a streamlined campaign and a high-quality production without locking core improvements behind stretch targets. Instead, every backer will receive a Kickstarter-exclusive free gift, available only during this campaign, which may be sold later as a limited item at conventions, through contests, or directly from Mighty Boards.

Are there going to be any other languages available?
The Limited Edition of For the Gods! is only available in English during this Kickstarter campaign. The game is largely language-independent - apart from the rulebook, only the Player Aid cards contain written text (in English). All core gameplay elements rely on iconography and symbols, making the game easy to understand and play regardless of language.
We plan to approach potential publishing partners regarding additional language editions for the future retail version of the game, but no other language versions are confirmed at this time.

Is there going to be a retail version of For the Gods!? And if yes, what will be the difference between the Kickstarter “Limited Edition” and the retail version?
Yes, a retail version of For the Gods! is planned, though the official release date has not yet been confirmed. The Kickstarter Limited Edition includes the following KS-exclusive, upgraded premium components: a) Gold-finish print, signed and unique numbered copy b) Double-layered map board c) Upgraded God tiles d) Printed canvas bags e) Printed ships f) Kraken miniatures g) Custom insert tray (by Game Trayz) Note: If you back this campaign, you will also receive the Trireme Player Dashboards for free (worth €20)
The retail version will not include these Kickstarter-exclusive components, while its MSRP is going to be set at $55 (approximately €47): a) No gold-finish print, not signed and not numbered copy b) The Retail version box will be smaller c) The map will be made of thinner cardboard and will be a standard, single-layer board. d) The gods will be printed on cardstock and will have a standard rectangular shape. e) Bags will be made made from a less luxurious fabric and will not be printed with the faction emblems f) The ships will not be printed g) The Krakens miniatures will be replaced with cardboard tokens h) No storage trays Note: The Trireme Player Dashboards, even if purchased separately, will not fit in the retail version box.

How do I pledge for extra copies? Is there a Group-pledge option?
Yes! Simply select the Group Pledge tier. The Group Pledge offers a double benefit: reduced shipping AND one free copy for every six pledged. You pay for 5 copies and receive a 6th copy for free - plus 6 free gifts.

If I add the Metal Glory tokens add-on, will it affect my shipping cost?
No - we will absorb the additional shipping cost for one set of Metal Glory tokens, so you will not be charged more than the amount listed in the Shipping section. However, this applies only to backers who have pledged at least the €55 “For the Gods! Limited Edition” tier. If you add more than one set of Metal Glory tokens, or pledge below the Limited Edition tier, then shipping costs will increase accordingly.

How long will the Pledge Manager stay open?
The BackerKit pledge manager will launch on March 24th and remain open until April 17th, giving you approximately three weeks to finalize, edit, or upgrade your pledge and add any additional items to your order. As we are planning to deliver the project in October 2026, we need to lock in final quantities shortly after the pledge manager closes so we can begin manufacturing and keep fulfilment on schedule. Please note that payment completion and address confirmation will still be possible after the pledge manager closes. However, changes to your pledge contents and add-ons will no longer be available at that stage.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
